Airports

There are two airports (IAH and HOU) available to fly into. The Marriot Marquis hotel is in the heart of downtown Houston. Uber/Lyft are readily available from both airports!

Parking

1. Is car parking included in the nightly hotel cost?

No, the parking fee is separate. IMRC has negotiated a discounted self-parking rate of $33/night + taxes. Total charges will depend on the number of nights you will park your car at the hotel during the convention. Charges will be paid directly to the hotel.

2. Is there a porter available at the self-parking location?

No, you will need to pick up your own baggage. It is better to drop off luggage and family members at the hotel near the valet, then self-park and then walk back to the hotel using the sky bridge. (See Parking Instructions below)

3. Is valet service provided at the hotel?

Yes, valet service is available at the hotel, but it does not have a discounted rate. The Valet rate’s about $70/night.

4. Where is the parking location?

Discounted parking is located at 1900 Rusk St, Houston, TX 77010 (Avenida North Garage (Winpark)). It is connected to the hotel building on the 2nd floor.

5. How many cars can be parked at the discounted rate?

The discounted rate is for 1 car/per room. Extra cars can be parked at regular nightly parking rate.

6. Do I need a car during the period of the convention?

No, you do not need a car after reaching the hotel. You will only need a car to and from the airport.

7. What else do I need to know about parking?

Multiple entries and exits are allowed per our parking contract. During check-in, your parking ticket will be attached to your room key. After check-in, your room key can be used to enter and exit the parking lot. After checkout, your credit card for the room will be charged for parking per the number of nights your car was parked at the hotel.

Instructions for Parking at the Garage and Walking to the Hotel

Enter the garage at the above address. Look for the below entrance. Keep the garage ticket and give it at the hotel reception at the time of check in

After parking, go to the 2nd floor of the garage and enter at the location below. This is connected to the hotel via the sky bridge

Follow signs to the hotel via the skybridge
