Child Care

We have some exciting news for young parents!!!

To enable all of our guests to fully enjoy the convention, IMRC team has arranged childcare services for kids up to 6 years of age, where parents can drop the kids off. This will allow all guests to enjoy the opening ceremony, some breakout sessions, as well as all the cultural night programs without any worries. 

There will be on-site child care services available for parents to check-in / check-out kids during the scheduled hours for a very highly subsidized charge. For details please check below FAQ.

Limited spots are available so advance registration and payment required (via Zelle/check).

FAQ

How much are the child care fees?

It is total $120 for 3 days per Child.

Can I pay only for those days on which I will be leaving my child for child care service?

Sorry, you can drop your kid any time between the scheduled 3 days and time, but fees will remain the same.

What are the payment options?

Zelle – Pay to payimrc2022@gmail.com. Please mention the account name/number that you will be using for payment.

What is the schedule of the Childcare service?

Thursday, 11/24/2022  –  2:00 PM to 10:45 PM
Friday, 11/25/2022  –  09:00 AM to 10:45 PM
Saturday, 11/26/2022  –  4:00 PM to 10:45 PM

When is the last pickup time?

Please plan to pick up your child by 10:30 PM. Daycare won’t be held responsible after 10:45 PM.

How far will the child care service be from IMRC location?

For your convenience, IMRC team has organized for child care services to be provided at the same venue as that of IMRC function. Parents do not need to drive anywhere to drop the kids. One of the conference halls in the hotel will be converted to a Child Care center.

What document do parents need to provide/sign beforehand?

Parents will be required to complete the registration forms and sign a child care waiver as required by Texas State Licensing, including the allergy and immunization form.

Are there any things we should know if we keep children with us during cultural and opening events?
  • Yes, unfortunately, there are some restrictions
  • No strollers in the ballroom due to lack of space
  • Due to various reasons (liability, being respectful to other attendees), kids should not walk in the ballroom aisles during the events
Can I pick up my kid in between and leave him again?

Yes, you can. There will be sign-in/sign-out sheets that will keep track of kids. Also, sticker and band will be given to parent and child.

What should parents provide when leaving kids in child care?

Baby food/ formula, milk, diapers, wipes, 2 pairs of change of clothes, blanket, toys, their favorite comfort thing, and anything you think your child will need (ex. pacifier, sippy cups, bottles etc.). Make sure everything is clearly labeled.

Are toys provided?

Age-appropriate toys will be provided and will be sanitized at the end of every day.

Can my kid bring his/her own toy?

Yes, they can bring their favorite comfort thing/toy.

How will the teachers contact you if they need you?

The teachers will be provided with parent’s phone number.

How many teachers are CPR and first aid certified?

All of the teachers are CPR and first-aid certified.

Are teachers background checked?

Yes, all the teachers are fully background checked.

What is the child teacher ratio?

As per Texas state standards.

Will there be Child Care facilities at the Ranch?

Sorry, Child Care services will not be provided at the Ranch. But there will be lots of activities for kids at the Ranch.

Is food provided to kids?

Food is not provided, however you may come and feed your child in the lobby. High chairs will be provided.

Can I give a snack for my child?

Yes, you can provide NUT FREE snacks in an airtight bag with your child’s name.

What is the policy involving sick children?
  • Sick children will not be accepted. The teachers will check the temperature prior to checking in a child.
  • Parents will need to pick up sick children within 30 minutes of being notified.
Do they provide a pillow and blanket?

For safety reasons pillows are NOT allowed. Blankets and cots will be provided. For any reason if you are not comfortable with your child using the provided blankets you may bring your own.

What activities will teachers be doing with the kids?
